Why Etlworks

Nobody has ever left because it didn’t work.

Once teams start using Etlworks, they rarely go back. A few customers have left us over price or corporate politics. In ten years, not one left because Etlworks didn’t deliver.

It always ends up working.

Ten years of POCs, demos, support tickets, conversations with customers and partners, and deals won and lost. In all of it, there has not been a single case where Etlworks didn’t end up working as designed.

Many of those projects came to us after other tools had already failed at the same scale and complexity, often more than once.

We listen, and we go further.

We weren’t always the best on paper. We won because we listened. Something didn’t work for a customer, or it mattered to them, and we changed it.

Our engineers work alongside yours and build pipelines with you, and we go well beyond what a support contract asks to get you to production. How support works →

We’re not the simplest tool.

We never were and we still aren’t. Some data work is complicated, and Etlworks handles complexity few other tools can: deeply nested data, CDC at volume, EDI, networks that stretch from the cloud into your own data center.

Everything we can make simpler, we make simpler, release after release.

Our AI agent is well ahead.

Simba, our AI agent, is well ahead of anything else built for data integration. It does the real work data engineers do every day: builds flows, writes mappings and SQL, reads the logs after a failed run.

It has gotten things wrong. We fixed it each time, and each fix made it better. What Simba does →

One tool, and it plays well with others.

Etlworks is one tool for ETL, ELT, CDC, files, EDI, APIs, queues and IoT. Not many platforms can say that, and it still works well with the rest of your stack.

Your dbt projects run as native flows. Your own AI tools can drive Etlworks over MCP. The REST API is published as an OpenAPI spec.

We move fast, and we fix things the same day.

We follow the industry closely and change quickly. New builds go out several times a week.

Anything that breaks, we fix the same day. On our cloud, the fix is applied to your instance with nothing for you to do. Self-hosted customers can download the build as soon as it’s ready.

We feel the AI pressure too.

Many businesses now believe they can build every integration themselves with an AI model, and they can build them. Keeping them running for years is harder. Integrations break, and someone has to own every one of them.

We are paranoid about this. Something we say works keeps working. The day it stops, fixing it is our job, not yours.
